“Creating a child takes no love or skill; being a parent requires lots of both.” ~Michael Josephson
Even though I posted this picture for Father’s Day last year it remains one of my favorites from my childhood. My Father has both love and skill and I feel fortunate that I get to see him often. He’s the type to jump in the car with his toolbox and fix my vacuum cleaner while I’m recovering from a head injury and simultaneously prepping 600 roses for an event on a boat. That happened on Wednesday. And even though I don’t look like him he’s taught me how to build and fix many things and made me productive and strong. I can only hope to be as creative as him.
Thanks, Dad.
