Forgive me for another pet post: Humphrey is 100 days old today (by my estimation) and that’s an important holiday in Korean culture. I’ve been pretty excited about taking language classes at The Korean Society and have even been able to order food in Korean, cause really, let’s talk about priorities here. As part of the 생일 (birthday) celebration, the baby has various objects set out before him and his choice is said to predict his future. Humphrey chose a yellow ball with a marble inside.
So, shall we say he’s channeling his yellow Asian side? Trying to coordinate with the daffodils? Either way, cheers and love to him. Because growing up is hard to do and he needs all the rest he can get. And somehow I don’t think that will be a problem.
Very sweet. Happy 100th days to little Humphrey! (I love how he has a heart shaped marking close to his bottom. Too, too cute.) xo
niki, i LOVE that you noticed it, your keen makeup-artist-trained eye is wise
